What is this?

Six short text-message stories where someone reaches out to you. Some are scams, some are people who are not who they say they are, and some are everyday situations that can go wrong. You read along and choose what to do.

Why am I doing this?

So the real moment isn't the first time you've seen it. When a stranger or a scam comes at you for real, you'll already know the feeling and what to do, because you practiced it here first.

Are these real?

The phone and the people texting you aren't real. But everything they say is based on things that really happen to teenagers every day. The tricks are real, even though the messages are made up.

What if I make the wrong choice?

That's the point. When a choice goes wrong, you get to see what happens, then the conversation rewinds so you can try a different way. Here a mistake costs nothing, so it's the safest place to make one.

Do I need an account or password?

No. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no email. You type a first name so the stories can use it, and that name never leaves this device.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. When you finish all six conversations, a certificate unlocks with your name and the date. Tap the print button on the certificate screen. It prints the certificate only, nothing else.

Do I have to finish them in order?

Yes. The next conversation unlocks once you finish the one before it. This keeps them in the order they were meant to be played.

Will I lose my progress if I close the tab?

No. The conversations you finish are saved on this computer, so you can close the tab and come back later. Your progress stays on this device, not a different one.

Can I start over from the beginning?

Yes. Tap the Replay app on the phone's home screen, or open Settings and tap "Erase everything and start over." Either one clears your name and all your progress so you, or the next person, can begin fresh.

Is this available in other languages?

Right now it is in English only. We are planning to add support for other languages, so more students can practice in the language they are most comfortable in. Check back for updates.

Is any of my information collected?

No. Nothing you do is uploaded or tracked. Only your name and progress are saved, and they stay on this device.
